Man arrested after two women 'touched on leg' in Hawks Way and Knoll Lane in Ashford

A 21-year-old man has been arrested after two women were reportedly sexually assaulted on the same day.

Earlier this month, police issued an appeal after a man reportedly 'touched two women on the legs' in Hawks Way and Knoll Lane in Ashford.

On Monday, March 4, one woman said she was approached by a man in an alleyway near Hawkes Way at around 2pm as she walked her dog.

The man allegedly spoke to the victim briefly about her dog before touching the top of her leg.

Just an hour later, another woman reported a similar incident in Knoll Lane at about 3pm when she was also touched on the leg while walking along a footpath.

Police have arrested a 21-year-old, matching the description of the suspect, on Monday, March 25. He has been released pending further investigation.
