Ashford men arrested after assault in Raymond Fuller Way, Kennington

A man in his 20s was allegedly threatened with a weapon before being assaulted in Ashford.

Police are investigating following the incident in Raymond Fuller Way on the Little Burton estate in Kennington on Friday.

The victim - who was hit by a car before being attacked - suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital.

Two Ashford men, aged 21 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident.

They were later bailed, pending further inquiries, until July 12.

Officers believe the victim and suspects are known to each other.

A number of people were reported to be in the area at the time of the alleged assault.
