Police arrested and charged a 48-year-old Ashford man after an alleged distraction burglary in Upper Queens Road

A 48-year-old man has been accused of burglary at a house in Upper Queens Road, in Ashford.

Ian Shane Bullen, of Musgrove, was arrested on Friday and has been charged after the alleged distraction burglary on July 25.

He appeared at Channel Magistrates’ Court, in Dover, on Saturday and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, September 21.
