Man charged with firearms offence after Tenterden town centre incident

A 20-year-old man has been charged with possession of a firearm following an incident in Tenterden High Street yesterday.
James Aaron Miles of no fixed address, appeared before Ashford magistrates charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and criminal damage to a police car.
He was arrested by two unarmed officers at 12.20am on Monday.
