Man cut free from car in Folkestone

A man had to be cut from his car after a crash on icy roads in Folkestone.

The driver was trapped in an overturned Toyota Yaris after a collision with another vehicle in Dover Hill at 1.40pm yesterday (Saturday, November 27).

Police closed the road and firefighters freed the man using hydraulic cutters. He was taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. His injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road was reopened after the cars and debris was cleared just before 3pm.
