Miles Cash denies causing death by dangerous driving of Ashford teenager Jonny Cash and Christopher Doran in White Hart pub car crash in Suffolk

A 19-year-old man has denied causing the death of a Kent teenager and another young man when his car smashed into a pub.

Jonny Cash, 18, from Ashford, was killed when the Citroen Berlingo he was in ploughed into the White Hart pub in Blythburgh, Suffolk on November 2, 2013.

His best friend Christopher Doran, 19, from Cheltenham, also died at the scene of the crash.

Miles Cash pleaded not guilty to two charges of causing death by dangerous driving at Ipswich Crown Court.

At Friday's hearing, Judge David Goodin told Cash that he would continue to be granted bail until his next court appearance.

Cash, of Roycroft Lane, Finchampton, Wokingham, is due to stand trial at the same court in May.

Three other men - a 19-year-old and two 20-year-olds - who were also arrested in connection with the crash, have been released without charge.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, thousands joined a Facebook page to honour Jonny.

Friend Deirdre Clyne posted: "May they both rest in peace. God look after both families through this sad time."

Another friend said: "R.I.P Johnny. May you have the best bed in heaven. Sleep tight angel xx."
