Darren McKay denies murder after body of Lee Walden found in flat in Bybrook Road, Kennington

A 38-year-old man has denied murdering Lee Walden, whose body was discovered in a block of flats in Kennington in May.

Darren McKay, of Beecholme Drive, will stand trial at Maidstone Crown Court on November 28.

He is accused of killing Mr Walden, 51, between May 15 and 17, when his body was found in a ground floor flat at Cherry Tree House in Bybrook Road.

Police were called to Kennington

Police were called to the flats on May 17. Mr Walden was believed to have suffered head injuries.

McKay was remanded in custody.
