A man has been taken to hospital after the car he was driving overturned on the A20 between Lenham and Charing this morning.

The blue Skoda ended up upside down on a grass verge on the opposite side of the road to the direction it was travelling in.

It was heading towards Ashford, approaching the Charing roundabout, when the car flipped and skidded about 20ft on its roof.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
