A man accused of raping a teenage girl in Sandgate almost 21 years ago appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday.

Stanley Daniels, 56, formerly of Blackbull Road, Folkestone, will enter a plea to the charge on June 25. He was remanded in custody.

The victim was attacked in October 1989.
