Man taken to hospital after crash in Fougeres Way in Ashford

A man was taken to hospital following a two-car collision last night.

Officers were at the scene of the crash in Fougeres Way, Ashford, for just over two hours.

Police, the fire service and paramedics were called at around 4.55pm to the multi-vehicle collision and remained at the scene until 7pm.

One man was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries not described as life-threatening.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Fougeres Way in Ashford to reports of a crash involving two vehicles.

"Two fire engines attended and crews assisted one casualty out of a vehicle. He was handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics."

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
