Man trapped in farming equipment in Sellindge, Ashford

A man has been taken to hospital after getting trapped in a piece of farming equipment.

Emergency services were called to a field in Sellindge, near Ashford , following reports of the accident.

The air ambulance was called to the scene near Main Road around 11.45am.

Ground ambulance vehicles also attended, alongside police and fire crews.

Two fire engines were present, and used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the man from the machine.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics, and taken to the William Harvey Hospital with a leg injury.
