Knifepoint robbery sees £300 stolen at the Brookfield Garage on Brookfield Road, Ashford

A man has been marched to a cash machine at knifepoint, leading to him losing hundreds of pounds.

The 50-year-old was approached by two men at 1.20am on Monday who coerced him to withdraw cash from the BP garage on Brookfield Road in Ashford.

The perpetrators - believed to be 18- to 20-years-old - took £300 in the attack which has been caught on CCTV recovered by the authorities.

An investigation is ongoing and police have asked anyone with information to call them on 01843 222289, quoting 46/197488/19, or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555111 or by completing an online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org
