Ashford man arrested after 'indecent act' in Bethersden

A man has been arrested after reportedly touching himself in public.
Police descended on a village near Ashford after a man was spotted carrying out an indecent act.
Officers were called to Mill Road in Bethersden after members of the public reported seeing the man.

A 42-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the incident, which happened between 9.45pm and 10.15pm on Monday, November 7.
The suspect has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
