A shocking image of a man covered in blood has emerged following a suspected stabbing in Ashford.

Police were called to Brookfield Road at about 12.30pm after the victim was found with serious injuries.

KentOnline has taken the decision not to show the image due to its disturbing nature.

The area has been taped off and emergency services remain at the scene.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
