A 28-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a man sustained facial injuries in an assault at a pub.

Officers were called to Singleton Barn in Hoxton Close, Ashford, after receiving reports a man had been assaulted.

Tyler Plumridge, of Manorfield Road in Singleton was arrested shortly after the incident - which is believed to have taken place at about 9.30pm last Sunday.

Mr Plumridge is due to appear in Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, April 3 after being charged with grievous bodily harm.
