Junel Miah charged with causing death by dangerous driving after crash that killed Danyl Ponsford in Ashford

A man is due in court after a 26-year-old man died in an Ashford crash last September.

Junel Miah, 27, of Magazine Road, will appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on May 19 charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing death while driving without insurance.

It comes after a Toyota Celica driven by Danyl Ponsford and a Volkswagen Golf crashed on Somerset Road at about 11pm on September 30 last year.

Danyl Ponsford, a manager at the Xpress Games in North Street, Ashford, was declared dead at the scene.

A second man has been summonsed to court for driving without insurance.
