Masked men attack boy with nunchuck in Faversham Road, Ashford

Police are hunting two men who set upon a teenage boy with a nunchuck outside a parade of shops.

The attack, which happened on Monday at 8pm in Faversham Road, between Burton Road and Nettlefield in Ashford, resulted in a head injury.

The suspects who had covered their faces reportedly threatened the boy who was then struck over the head, however he escaped towards home in the Canterbury Road direction.

Nothing was stolen and the boy was taken to William Harvey Hospital for treatment.

PC Martyn Brown said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a vulnerable victim and whilst we continue our enquiries we would ask anyone with information to call us.

"Any dashcam footage or CCTV which shows the assault or the moments leading up to it should be flagged to us straight away."
