A28 in Tenterden blocked by accident involving mobility scooter

An accident between a car and a mobility scooter blocked the A28 at Tenterden today.
It happened at East Cross at around 10.18am.
A police spokesman said that there had been a collision between a car and an elderly man on a scooter.
The road was blocked for about half-an-hour.
The man, in his 70s, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital by ambulance with leg injuries.
