Man dies after Suzuki motorbike collides with Peugeot 207 in Ashford

A man has died almost two weeks after a serious crash.

The motorcyclist died of his injuries in hospital 11 days after being involved in the collision in Ashford.

Police are investigating after the victim's blue Suzuki GSXR 100 motorbike collided with a silver Peugeot 207 on Bad Munstereifel Road.

Both vehicles were attempting to take the Hamstreet slip road towards the A2070 in the Brenzett direction when the collision occurred at around 11.47am on Sunday, July 18.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was airlifted to a London hospital in a critical condition, but sadly died yesterday.

Investigators would like to talk to anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash cam or mobile phone footage.
