A bar and sourdough pizza restaurant is set to open in Ashford town centre next month.

The new venture – which will be called the Taproom – will replace the former Vinnie’s nightspot in Bank Street.

Brewery boss James Yeomans has taken over the spot on a 20-year lease and plans to open on Thursday, April 12.

Sourdough pizza will be available

The 28-year-old, who has run the Woolwich-based Hop Stuff Brewery since 2013 and lives in Shadoxhurst, will be selling craft beers together with wood-fire sourdough pizzas.

He is currently hiring and is looking for a general manager and head pizza chef among other roles.
