DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at an off-licence. A man entered Unwins in Brockman Road at Folkestone and demanded staff hand over cash from the till.

He threatened to shoot them if they refused and he was holding an object in a Marks & Spencer plastic carrier bag. No gun was seen.

He left the shop with a small quantity of cash, turned left and ran down Brockman Road.

He is described as a white man aged in his early twenties, 5ft 8ins tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black balaclava, a light green shirt and stonewashed jeans.
