An Amazon delivery van filled with parcels was stolen in Ashford – but was then found by police shortly afterwards.

Officers were called to recover the Mercedes Sprinter from Stanhope after it was stolen in nearby Kingsnorth Road.

The call came in at 2.45pm on Saturday and police say a number of packages had been taken.

Amazon will be in touch with any affected customers, officers say.
