Pair charged after cable is stretched across road

TWO men have been charged with causing danger to other road users after an incident in a Kent town in August.

Anthony Scott, a 23-year-old labourer, of Smithy Drive, Kingsnorth, near Ashford, and James Batty, 22, a student, of Cross at Hand Cottages, Staplehurst, near Maidstone, have been bailed to appear at court on October 17.

The charges relate to an incident where cable was stretched across a duel carriageway in Ashford in the early hours of Tuesday, August 15.
