A person was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in a town centre.

The incident happened yesterday in Regents Place, Ashford, at about 3.10pm.

Police and paramedics attended the collision, and the pedestrian was taken to a local hospital.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: “Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended following a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Regents Place, Ashford at 3.10pm on Wednesday, November 1.

“The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital.”
