Hamstreet police and ambulance crews searching woodlands

Police and ambulance crews have been searching woodland after concerns were raised about a man who has gone missing.

Officers were called to the Ham Street Woods National Nature Reserve this morning.

The police helicopter and the ambulance service’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were also called to the area to help.

Residents reported seeing officers carrying out searches. It is believed the operation is continuing this afternoon.
