Police called to 'disturbance' in Canterbury Road, Ashford

Police descended on a busy road after being called to a disturbance.

Officers were seen in Ashford after being called to a property in Canterbury Road – but the force did not find any offences.

A witness reported seeing at least two patrol cars and an ambulance pull up at the junction with Lower Queens Road.

Officers were then seen entering the Hayesbank B&B on the junction during Friday's rush hour.

A spokesperson for the force confirmed that officers had been called to "a disturbance" at the property at about 3.30pm.

"Officers attended and spoke to those present," they added.

"No criminal offences were identified."
