Police have launched an investigation after man was stabbed in the arm.

The victim was assaulted in Stanhope, in South Ashford, yesterday afternoon just before 12.30pm.

He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital for treatment following the attack in Monkton Close.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
