The South Eastern Tavern, in Torrington Road, Ashford, was empty at the time of the fire between 10pm and 11.35pm on Friday. No one was injured.

PC Mark Bage, of Ashford Police, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity during the time frame of the incident, and may have information which will help the investigation.”
