Police are warning nuisance motorists that their behaviour will not be tolerated, after responding to a reports of dangerous driving during the snow fall of recent weeks.

In Ashford, officers are investigating after reports were received of a vehicle “skidding around” the car park in Tannery Lane, at about 10.45pm, on Sunday, January 20.

Sergeant Chris Hughes said: “Anyone considering purposely skidding their vehicles or performing doughnut manoeuvres in snow and icy conditions should think again.

“Not only is this nuisance behaviour a driving offence but it is dangerous and someone could get seriously injured or even killed.

“Motorists found to be causing a nuisance could face having their vehicle seized and issued a fine, or even appear before magistrates.”
