Ready to take to the stage

Youngsters who attend a new stage school are putting the final touches to their debut show.

Sarah Stanton’s Saturday Stage School meets at Ashford Rugby Club from 9am-11am each Saturday.

Members have been working together for three months, building up to a show on Monday.

“That’s just enough time to put our show together,” said helper Kathy Butterly. “They’ve got some dance routines, and numbers from The Sound of Music and Annie.”

The group caters for children aged six-14 and there are usually about 20 at each session, where they tackle singing, dancing and acting.
