Man cut free from car after Trinity Road crash in Ashford

Firefighters rescued a driver from a crashed car by cutting through the vehicle and pulling him free.

Two cars collided on the A251 Trinity Road, close to Ashford's Eureka Leisure Park, shortly before 5.45pm on Wednesday.

Police, paramedics and fire crews all attended, and motorists making their way through the busy route faced delays.

The trapped man was cut free from his car and handed over to medics for treatment.
