Robbers take cash and phone after searching victim's pockets on Brookfield Road, Ashford

A man's pockets were searched by robbers during an early morning attack.

The victim, a man in his 40s, had just withdrawn money from a cash machine when the two culprits approached him at 3.30am on Brookfield Road, Ashford.

In last Thursday's incident, the pair searched his pockets and stole money and a phone before walking away.

The victim suffered bruising during the incident.

One suspect was described as a slim white man, 5 ft 10 ins, with a scruffy appearance. He was said to wear a black or blue Parka jacket.

The second man was white, had a medium build and was around 5ft. He was clean-shaven, had ginger hair and wore tracksuit bottoms with a hooded jacket.
