Firefighters had to free two people from cars after a three-vehicle crash on the M20 in the early hours of today.

Crews used hyraulic equipment to create a space to enable them to get to two casualties and free them after the crash at around 2.20am between junctions 8 and 9 coastbound.

Several other casualties were assessed by ambulance crews at the scene.
