TV presenter Paul O'Grady has shared snaps of him posing with the newest addition to his Kent farm.

The Aldington resident posted photos on Instagram of the adorable alpaca, taken just 10 minutes after she was born.

"One of my alpacas gave birth this morning," he wrote.

"Here she is 10 minutes after she popped out."

O'Grady asked his followers for name suggestions, adding: "She's got my legs."

On a later post, he revealed the name of his baby alpaca would be Flo after the little girl in his children's book.

He added: "She's a beauty."

The 67-year-old is a well-known animal lover and has presented a number of shows featuring furry friends, including his hit series, For the Love of Dogs.

As well as alpacas, he has kept a huge variety of animals, including dogs, cats, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, ferrets and New Zealand pigs.

Last week, the broadcaster revealed he was quitting his Radio 2 show after a decade.
