Welcome to the most haunted pub in Britain - where the spirits are mixed with horror!

As Halloween gets set to dawn, the night of the long screams will put an icy chill down the backs of our intrepid kmfm team.

The Black Horse Inn, Pluckley

For, in Pluckley, the most haunted village in Britain, a brave team will investigate those things that go bump in the night at the 14th Century Black Horse Inn.

Professional ghost hunters and mediums will join the presenters to tour the bar area and upstairs rooms, including ‘The Secret Room’ last searched by the Most Haunted team two years ago.

The pub used to be the old bailiff's and it is said a poltergeist haunts the bar area. Customers and licensees regularly report their belongings disappearing then re-appearing days later.

Presenter Oli Kemp said: “I’m quite sceptical, but I am going with an open mind.

“Nobody’s gone into ‘The Secret Room’ in the two years since Most Haunted went in there and they left quickly after going in.”

The pub is on a ley line, which many believe provides an opening for spirits from the other side.

Fellow presenter Rob Wills said there has to be some kind of explanation for all the ghostly goings-on: “I really believe there is something , there’s no smoke without fire.”
