Ashford: Danny Glover charged with stalking after woman approached in Kingsnorth

A man in his 30s has been charged with stalking after a woman was approached in Ashford.

Danny Glover, of Copperfield Close, Kennington, was arrested following the incident Church Hill, Kingsnorth.

The victim - also in her 30s - was walking in the road when she was approached by a man who verbally abused her and parked his car in such a way that she could not leave the street.

The incident happened in Church Hill, Kingsnorth

When members of the public intervened, the man got back in his car and left the area.

Glover, 37, was charged with one count of stalking following the incident, which happened on Thursday, February 1 between 8.15am and 9am.

He is also accused of beating a woman during a separate incident on January 30 in Ashford.

He was released on bail to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on March 16.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who stepped in to help during the disturbance in Church Road and ask for witnesses to call them on 01843 222289, quoting ZY/7306/18.
