Access to Ashford's Stour Centre to be affected by gas main works for five days

Visitors to Ashford's Civic Centre are being advised of the temporary closure of Tannery Lane.

From Monday, October 14 the road will be closed for five days at the pinch point between the Civic Centre and the Stour Centre.

The closure is required to allow contractors to install a new gas main into the Stour Centre boiler house to replace the existing main.

This will mean that visitors to the Civic Centre will still be able to access Tannery Lane for the visitors car park and the driving test centre, but visitors to the Stour Centre will need to access the alternative car park via the entrance in Station Approach Road (by the International Station).

The works are expected to be completed on Friday, October 18.
