Four teenagers arrested by police at the BP petrol station in Beaver Road, South Ashford at around 6.15pm on Monday

A group of youngsters were arrested by police at a petrol station in Ashford last night.

A swarm of five police cars and around eight officers were spotted descending on the BP petrol station in Beaver Road, at around 6.15pm.

Four men were arrested on the scene and remain in custody.

Two 16 year-olds and an 18-year-old were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and another 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
