One lucky listener has been crowned the winner of kmfm's competition Best Year Ever.

Since January 13, the Kent radio station has been giving listeners the chance to celebrate the new year by winning £2,020.

There were 70 boxes marked one to 70 and behind each box was one word. Those who were given the opportunity to play had to pick three numbers, winning if the numbers revealed to say "best","year","ever" - in that exact order.

After 42 rounds of the competition, Lauren Sackett from Ashford was the 43rd caller to play.

Revealing on air to Andy Walker that she wanted to take her two children on their first holiday abroad, Lauren then gave three correct box numbers, and in the right order as: 53, 14, 47 and was confirmed as the winner.
