Spot the road sign ... if you can.

Overgrown hedges obscuring a speed warning sign could cause an accident, says worried

Kenardington resident Geoff Cornes.

He's concerned about the sign in Woodchurch which is now completely obscured by tree branches.

He said: “It is a fast piece of road and it’s the safety aspect that concerns me.

“This is on the Woodchurch Road between the World’s Wonder pub and the 40mph sign that goes towards Woodchurch."

He added: “There are many road signs obliterated like this in the area. Perhaps we should start a hunt the sign competition just to see where they are.”

Lisa Whitbread, spokeswoman for Kent County Council, said: “We will investigate."
