Thieves steal Lego worth £20,000 from lorry

DETECTIVES have appealed for information after an articulated lorry loaded with 34 pallets of Lego worth £20,000 was stolen.

The lorry had been parked in Monument Way on the Orbital Park industrial estate at Ashford and stolen between 2am and 4.30am on Friday.

The vehicle, a white and blue Volvo, was later found at Horton Kirby, near Dartford. The cab had been burnt out causing damage estimate at £12,000.

The lorry had been was parked at Monument Way at about 9pm on Thursday.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have information regarding this incident. They are asked to contact DC Roy Wensley at Ashford Police Station on 01233 896280.
