Thieves damage Aldington Post Office in Roman Road during attempted burglary

Thieves caused serious damage to a village Post Office during an attempted burglary.

It happened yesterday at the Post Office on Roman Road in Aldington at around 10.30pm.

No items were taken but damage was caused to the building and now police are appealing for witnesses.

A black Land Rover was seen driving towards Frith Road shortly after.

Officers have also identified two men who may be able to help with their enquiries.

Both men were wearing grey tracksuits, grey puffer jackets and trainers with reflective parts.
