Two people had to be cut from a car after a three-vehicle smash on the A28 at Bethersden.

The accident, which happened at the junction with Bull Lane at 6.38pm on Saturday, blocked the road completely and traffic had to be diverted.

The road was not reopened until 9.07pm.
