Three crashes in Ashford within 30 minutes on A2070, A251 and A28.

Three crashes within half an hour are causing delays on the roads in Ashford this morning.

The incidents happened in Kennington, Godinton Park and Faversham Road.

Police received a the first report of a crash in Kennington on the A2070 this morning just before 8am.

Two vehicles were involved and the South East Coast Ambulance (SECAMB) was called to a report of minor injuries.

Another crash report came just after 8am about a collision between a vehicle and some railings near Godinton Park.

Officers were called to the scene as the vehicle was blocking the road but it has now been recovered.

A third incident was reported just after 08.30am on the A251 Faversham Road involving two vehicles.

Officers, SECAMB and firefighters attended the scene.

Minor injuries were reported and one female was taken to hospital.

Police are urging drivers to take care today.
