Police release CCTV following serious assault in Castle Street, Ashford, which left a man with a broken jaw

Police are trying to trace three people in connection with a town centre attack which left a man with a broken jaw.

Officers investigating the serious assault have released CCTV of a group of people who were in Castle Street, Ashford on the night of the attack.

In particular, they would like to speak with a man and two women seen in these images and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

The assault took place on Sunday, October 5 at around 1am and involved a 23-year-old who had been out for the evening with two friends.

He was leaving a bar when two women attempted to assault him and his friends.

A 23-year-old man sustained a broken and dislocated jaw in the attack

Shortly after this it is alleged that a man assaulted the 23-year-old resulting in him sustaining a broken and dislocated jaw.

The main suspect is described as being a white man, aged between 35 and 40-years old, around 5ft 10ins tall and of stocky build.
