A car crashed into the wall of a country hotel this morning, causing rush-hour traffic delays.

The smash happened shortly after 8.20am on the A251 near Boughton Aluph.

A BMW Z3 had to be recovered after crashing into the outer wall of Eastwell Manor.

A woman was treated for shock, while the male driver was uninjured.
