Emergency services attend crash in Ashford Road, Kingsnorth, Ashford

Two people were hurt following a crash in Ashford this afternoon.

Police and ambulance crews were called just before 1pm following reports two vehicles had collided.

It happened in Steeds Lane, close to the junction with Ashford Road, in Kingsnorth.

There were delays in the area while emergency services dealt with the incident.

The road has now re-opened.

A police spokeswoman said: "Kent Police was called at 12.56pm to Steeds Lane, Ashford following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

"Two people reported being injured and were treated by SECAMB.

"The road was re-opened at 2.55pm."
