Traffic was almost at a standstill on the M20 following an earlier crash.

The collision happened on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 9 for Ashford and Faversham and junction 10 for Ashford.

It happened at around 5.30pm.

Although the vehicles involved were moved onto the hard shoulder traffic was still queuing until around 7pm.

Police have been approached for more information.
