The scene on the M20

A spokesman from Highways England said at 12.12pm: "We've kept lane three running, while the van was on the hard shoulder.

"Six or seven small dinghies fell onto the motorway.

"We have recovery on the scene, and we've stopped traffic while we get it sorted.

"We are expecting it to be recovered in 15 minutes, with everything cleared in 30 minutes.

"There's a small oil spill but we have a team on-site now working on it."

More information as we get it.
