Kerry Dixon

Family members have paid tribute to a much-lamented son and father who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Charing Hill last Saturday.

Such was the popularity of Biddenden born and bred Kerry Dixon, 38, that his family are eager to let his many friends know of the forthcoming funeral service being held at Charing Crematorium on Thursday, October 23 at 2.40pm.

His death leaves an irreplaceable gap in the lives of those closest to him, in particularly his close-knit family, many of whom joined him on a recent holiday to Greece.

His mother, Ross Rogers said: "He was a boy who enjoyed life. He was so happy and had the biggest heart anyone could have.

"He always had time for other people."

Mr Dixon, a former pupil of Homewood School in Tenterden and father to a nine-year-old son and four-year-old daughter, died at the scene of the accident about 8.55pm on October 11.

Donations are invited to Mr Dixon's children's trust funds.

Fuggles of Tenterden are handling the funeral.
